Northwestern Local Schools will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend!
Please be sure you are familiar with Ohio’s new attendance policy regarding CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM. This is different than TRUANCY! Chronic absenteeism takes in to account ALL absences (excused, medical excused, OSS, and unexcused). When your child reaches 65 hours of absences for the year, they will be placed on an Absence Intervention Plan. If you have any further questions, please call the office at 419-846-3974 or refer to their student handbook.
Boys Impact Club is available in the information rack. Applications are for new members only. Please see the schedule for meeting dates!
GIRLS Impact Club informational meeting will be Monday, September 21 at 6:30 at Mohican Church. This is open to girls in 6th - 8th grade.
If you are new to the district and would like to register a new student, please Log on to Final Forms and complete all the necessary forms. You will need to bring with you the following documents: Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Immunization Record, Proof of Residency, Custody papers, if applicable to your family, and if your child has an IEP, please bring the most recent copy of that document. You may bring originals, and we will make copies of your documents.
Scan thee QR code to register your student for the student Athletic pass. This pass will get your student in to varsity athletic events free.
The school supply list for 2026/2027 school year is on the website. Lists will also be available at local stores in Wooster and Ashland.
